Information on the trial

Before you agree to take part in the trial, please read the information below.

1) This game was developed by Lincoln Social Computing Research Centre as part of the European Project PASION. The goal of the game is to test how we can enrich your gaming experience by providing you with new kinds of information about your interactions with other players.

2) To understand your interactions, the tool captures information about your gaming behaviour. The data is stored on a secure central server. PASION uses the data to calculate the "social indicators" we show on users' screens. The information shown on user screens pools data from many users. The only people who can see information about individuals and their communications are PASION researchers, who will use it exclusively for purposes of research. All data will be treated as strictly confidential. Under no circumstances will we give this information to other users or to third parties.

3) After the tests we will ask you to fill in short questionnaires which we will use to assess the gaming experience. We would much appreciate your collaboration.
