PASIONfruit is a game about collecting fruits. The player who has the garden with the most diverse collection of fruit will be the winner! However the cost of sending gifts is environmental impact in CO2 emissions that must be controlled.

How many different fruits are there?
There are 20 different types of fruit at the moment (more may be added in the future)
How do I get more different fruits?
You can only get a new fruit by receiving a gift from another player. You should look at the player histories to find people who are more likely to send you gifts in return for your fruit (also look for what they need).
How come me and my friends all start with similar fruit?
When you register to play the game, your garden location determines the type of fruit you are based on the climate of your country. For example UK players will start with apples, pears or strawberries, where Italian players start with Lemons, Grapes and Olives.
Gardens
Can I move my garden?
Once you have chosen your garden's location, you can not move it. Be very careful to choose your real location!
How many fruit can my garden hold?
Your garden can hold 20 trees. If you have any more you will not be able to receive gifts until you make some space in your garden.
How does my garden grow?
Every day you will grow a new tree for your native fruit.
Every day, there is a chance that a non-native fruit tree will generate another tree!
After two weeks, your trees will start to die. In order to save them you must send them to be re-planted in another players' garden.
Why has my garden become dirty?
If you have created too many CO2 emissions by sending gifts long distances, your garden will change to reflect the damage to the atmosphere.
Gifts
How do gifts generate CO2?
When a player receives a gift, they set a location. CO2 is calculated based on the distance from your garden to this location. You are best to interact only with local players.
Teams
Why should I join a team?
You can join a team in order to find more people to play with, but also to compete against other groups. The teams with the most diverse collections between their members will become the best!
Why can I not join two teams?
You are only allowed to join one team at a time. You can leave a team whenever you want, so can change your team very easily.
